Dr. Samer Othman

Dr. Samer Othman grew up right here in Macon, Georgia. As a teenager, he played football, ran track, and took to the stage in both theater and concert band at Stratford Academy. It was there, too, that he found his life’s calling:

“At Stratford, we were required to do a mentorship with a local business, and before then, I didn’t know what field I wanted to go into. I chose to do a mentorship with my childhood dentist, and from then on, I knew dentistry was exactly what I wanted to do.”

Our Dr. Othman was not the first in his family to dedicate his life to healing. His father, Dr. Mufid Othman, practiced internal medicine and nephrology in Macon for more than 35 years and earned a reputation as a compassionate, generous physician who freely gave of his time and resources.

Dr. Othman follows in his father’s footsteps, providing dental care at his Advanced Dental Arts practice and at several free and reduced-cost clinics for the less fortunate.

When he’s out of the office, Dr. Othman enjoys hiking, kayaking, spending time at the gym, and boxing. He’s a huge football fan, pulling for his favorite teams: Mercer University, the University of Georgia, and the Atlanta Falcons.
