Sleep Apnea Treatment
Sleep apnea doesn’t just affect your rest—it can impact your heart, brain, and overall health. At Advanced Dental Arts, we actively screen for signs and symptoms of sleep apnea during routine visits, because many patients don’t realize they’re affected. If we suspect apnea, we’ll ask about your sleep patterns, daytime fatigue, snoring, or jaw discomfort—then refer you to a trusted local sleep specialist for diagnostic testing.
If you receive a diagnosis, we can often help. For patients who can’t tolerate a CPAP machine—or who need an alternative—we offer custom mandibular advancement appliances (MAAs), which reposition the jaw to keep the airway open during sleep. One of our most frequently prescribed options is the EMA (Elastic Mandibular Advancement) appliance, a comfortable, non-invasive solution that many patients find easier to use than traditional therapies.
Sleep apnea is treatable—and relief may start at your next dental appointment.
